BLM Book Club - August - The Condemnation of Blackness by Khalil Muhammad

Ada's is partnering with moderator Nathalie M. to bring you a new monthly book club, the BLM Book Club.
We will read one book for every month and discuss the text. The goal is to create a space to talk about race in our communities with the books as a guide and a starting point. Disagreement is welcome, but respect is mandatory. As the meetings progress, there will be room for participant input on our introductory curriculum (e.g., articles to read or extra discussion questions).
We will read literature addressing anti-black racism. Everyone is welcome. Come with respect and an open mind. Meetings will be discussion-based with an eye to today’s protests.
Please signup here to receive important emails and club updates! Nathalie will at times send out topics for discussion, prior to the book club meetings. We will not share your name, email or any other information with anyone.
Support local business and buy the book from Ada's Online Store! Available for in-store pickup on Capitol Hill, or direct to home shipping. We appreciate you!
