Learn about the spectacular variety of life that flourishes between the ebb and flow of high and low tide with Ryan Kelly, associate professor at the UW School of Marine & Environmental Affairs and author of the recently published book, Between the Tides in Washington and Oregon: Exploring Beaches and Tidepools (University of Washington Press).

Kelly will illuminate the scientific forces that shape the diversity of life at each beach and tidepool and share fascinating stories behind both common and familiar species.
